When soaked in water, its natural fibers soften, expand, and then the weave tightens back to improve its strength and pliability. A gentle exfoliating cloth that stimulates the skin to a smooth invigorating freshness. Each cloth lasts up to one year; it will never spoil or grow mildew, is fully biodegradable and can be machine-washed.

Before using for first time, soak Ayate in water overnight so fibers absorb water and soften properly. In shower or bath, place cleansing bar in Ayate and wrap Ayate around bar. Wet bar and Ayate and apply to skin in circular motion to wash body.
